Jazz is a freedom sound. And this Black Music Month, 651 Arts and Cafe Erzulie join with the JGI for a free series exploring the movements, meanings and legacies of jazz in America. Every Tuesday at 651 Arts will feature a panel, screening or other with jazz musicians and thinkers, paired with a live event on Thursday at Cafe Erzulie. All Tuesday events at 651 are 5:45pm doors, 6:00pm start. Each Thursday show at Erzulie is 7:00pm doors, 8:00pm start.
