The JGI will grow diverse audiences in New York and New Orleans, expand archival preservation of jazz legacies and spark new possibilities in improvised music and beyond.

Jason Clotter

Jason Clotter has become a go-to bassist to support some of the most illustrious names in jazz, including Kenny Garrett and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. At this Soundoff Session, Clotter leads a quartet in a 9 pm set, and then will open up the room for a semi-curated session at 10:30 pm.

Voices of Healing and Liberation will bring together voices in poetry and music from across generations whose work has raised consciousness in the 21st century.
