Stephanie Jordan is one of New Orleans’ most celebrated jazz vocalists, known for her elegant stage presence, expressive phrasing, and emotional depth. Mentored by legendary vocalist Shirley Horn, she gained national recognition for her moving rendition of “Here’s to Life” during the nationally televised reopening of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The daughter of Edward 'Kidd' Jordan and a member of New Orleans’ renowned Jordan musical family, she has performed alongside acclaimed artists including Herbie Hancock, Terence Blanchard, and Ellis Marsalis, while appearing at major venues and festivals around the world. Whether leading a big band or performing with a small ensemble, Jordan captivates audiences with her warm tone, masterful phrasing, and timeless approach to jazz storytelling.
