Solid Harmony
Solid Harmony is the family band founded by New Orleans late, great vocal legend Topsy Chapman shortly after her rise to notoriety with her starring role in the hit Off-Broadway musical, "One Mo' Time" in the 1980s. Topsy and her singing daughters, Yolanda & Kiki, swiftly became staples among the jazz, blues and soul circuits, singing with some of the top musicians in New Orleans over the past 30 years. Today, Topsy's daughters, each respected local vocalists in their own right, continue the family band's legacy with Topsy's grandson on brass, and a rotating cast of players who've been a part of the band over the years.
TONIGHT: Expect a mosaic of unique swing harmonies backed by an all-star New Orleans band.
