Blending traditional swing with contemporary energy, the orchestra showcases a deep commitment to preserving and evolving the city’s rich jazz heritage. Known for its tight arrangements, soulful improvisation, and dynamic live performances, the ensemble features some of the finest musicians in New Orleans and often collaborates with special guests across generations. It's truly a marvel to experience this 12-15 piece big band take over the intimate Snug stage.

Tonight, the band is led by longtime bassist for the late, great Ellis Marsalis, Jason Stewart.
